SETTLEMENT

Our client was driving her car west on Linebaugh Ave. when a car violated her right of way by driving across her lane of travel to cross the road. Our client honked her horn and slammed on the breaks but could not avoid the collision. She T-boned the other car with her hand still on the horn. When her airbag deployed it broke her arm, her thumb and detached the ligament connected to her thumb. She underwent an open reduction and internal fixation surgery of her arm and reattachment surgery of her ligament. She also underwent a wrist surgery some time later.
